Is love enough?

The most mighty, never-ending, and unconditional love that exists is known as a mother’s love for her children, yet some mothers kill their babies. Dump their babies or leave them behind the church’s door. Even give them up for adoption. Sometimes some mothers will sell their children for a fix of whatever their addiction might be.

Is love really enough? Does love really conquer all? Or is love just one piece of the puzzle?

Isn’t putting all our faith in one basket called love like building a house on just one brick? I’m not saying love isn’t necessary. I’m just not sure love is all that is needed. Without love, we won’t survive, but neither will we survive without loyalty, commitment, maturity, responsibility, and security.

Our desperate need for love has overshadowed our ability to see with clarity. Life is more significant than just loving and being loved. To grow and build a future is to put many different pieces together in proper order. And yes, enjoying life is about growth and the ability to experience it most profoundly.
